This scheme allows UK and overseas companies who cannot collect or contribute crop levy to become Associate Members of the Organisation. Currently, PGRO has over 200 such members, including members in 15 overseas countries. Members include Departments of Agriculture, Processing, Seeds and Agrochemical Companies, Research Institutes and Agricultural Universities.

In return for a modest annual subscription, Associate Members benefit from:

Free copies of the majority of PGRO publications
Invitations to Members Days and other PGRO events
 Discussions with technical staff
Use of the Organisation's technical services
Access to the Members pages of this website

Membership is valid for one year from date of acceptance.

Throughout its history, PGRO has been responsible for, or closely involved with, virtually every advance in pea or bean production.  Continuous involvement with the crops for over sixty years has ensured that senior staff have a deep and specialised knowledge of all aspects of production and usage.  Associate Members benefit from this experience, from information from the trials programme and from regular contact with PGRO staff through visits, Members days, conferences, seminars and other events and the Members pages of this website.
