ry Services PGRO offers a complete information and advisory service, which covers all subjects from seed to harvest, and provides an identification and crop diagnosis service for crop problems. A plant clinic operates throughout the season and samples of seed, plants or soil can be submitted for diagnosis. In addition, field visits can be arranged where diagnosis or crop management problems can be discussed.
This service is offered to levy payers without additional 
charge, irrespective of crop location. Associate Members are usually asked to cover travelling expenses and a consultancy fee may be required. On this basis, crop problems are routinely investigated in all the UK arable areas and at the request of Associate Members, visits have been made to Europe and Africa.
