Contract Trialling
Each year PGRO conducts extensive contract trialling work on behalf of seed
companies, chemical companies and other parties.
Information & Advisory Services
PGRO offers an information and advisory service, which covers all
subjects from seed to harvest, and provides an identification and crop
diagnosis service for crop problems.
Publications & Journals
A journal, published four times a year is used, together with this
website, to communicate the latest research work to members of PGRO.
Seed Testing & plant health
PGRO has laboratories equipped for seed testing and diagnostic facilities
for plant diseases and disorders. This together with glasshouse
facilities means plants can be grown throughout the year for a range of
purposes, including the final stages of disease identification and the soil-borne disease test.
Conference Centre
The PGRO
Conference Centre and Meeting Room are available to hire
throughout the year at very competitive rates.
