The Extension of Authorisation Number is 1285 of 2023.

ADVISORY INFORMATION

This Extension of authorisation relates to the use of ‘InSyst’ (M19873) for control of Black bean aphid (Aphis fabae), pea aphid (Acyrthosiphon pisum), Peach potato aphid (Myzus persicae), Alfalfa Mosaic Virus and Bruchid beetle (Bruchus rufimanus) on outdoor crops of vining peas, combining peas, edible podded peas, broad beans, French beans and runner beans. Applications are to be made via tractor mounted horizontal boom sprayers with a water volume of 200 to 500 litres /ha.

IMPORTANT: When applying this product under the terms of this Extension of authorisation, comply with any resistance guidance or restrictions stated on the product label.

Total reliance on one pesticide will hasten the development of resistance. Pesticides of different chemical types or alternative control measures should be included in the planned programme. Alternating with different modes of action is a recognised anti-resistance strategy. Use no more than two applications of any neonicotinoid insecticide on any crop.

Where a neonicotinoid insecticide has previously been used on the crop (e.g., as a seed treatment or soil treatment), use no more than a single foliar application of any neonicotinoid.

The conditions of the Extension of Authorisation for Minor Use are obligatory. They must be complied with when the Extension of authorisation occurs. Failure to comply with the conditions will result in the withdrawal or amendment of the Extension of authorisation under Regulation (EC) No 1107/2009 and may result in other enforcement action, including prosecution. For the purposes of this Extension of authorisation only, the conditions and/or requirements in the Extension of Authorisation (see links above) supersede any corresponding conditions and/or requirements set out on the label or otherwise provided for under the product authorisation which would otherwise apply.
