PGRO’s Jim Scrimshaw steps down from role after 33 years

After 33 years loyal service, PGRO Principal Technical Officer Jim Scrimshaw has decided to step down from his role. His last day in the role was on 16th September 2021. 

He will now focus on assisting his wife with her plant nursery and landscaping business. 

Jim Scrimshaw joined PGRO in 1988 and, having developed expertise in herbicides, has been the primary contact for those wishing to carry out commercial agronomy trials at PGRO for all those years.

PGRO chief executive Roger Vickers said: “All at PGRO will be sad to see Jim go and we thank him for his dedication, enthusiasm and support during his career. He will be greatly missed and we wish him well.”
