Protein content vs. yield in legumes: releasing the constraint (PROTYIELD) - 2016

Investigating the relationship between protein content and yield in pulses. Aims to produce novel genetic stocks with improved traits, breeding tools and associated marker systems, together with knowledge of screening and characterising mutants. The project will provide advanced understanding for breeding high-value legume protein crops.
